		About Avacab Taxis....

	Avacab Taxis Ltd., came into being around 20 years ago and has been been built to it’s present size by a combination of acquisition and general growth, and is now the largest Taxi company in the South Ribble area with over 100 vehicles in the fleet. Avacab have an enviable reputation and have a philosophy of building there business on offering reliable, courteous and consistent service, combined with a modern well maintained fleet of vehicles. From the Avacab office in Leyland, vehicles are controlled by radio and computerised booking/tracking system. We operate a fully computerised control system, and all vehicles are satellite linked to the main office. This means our operator’s are able to give exact up to date information to the customer at all times. In 2008 we moved to our new & much larger premises which include both offices and our modern workshop facilities. This enables us to service and maintain all our vehicles “In-House”. To this end we employ three full time, fully skilled motor technicians. At Avacab we pride oursleves on running one of the most modern, up to date and best maintained fleets of vehicles in the North West, and possibly the UK.


	Did you know that Avacab offer both “Ring Back” and IVR services?

“Ring Back Service”. No more waiting at the window, or popping out to see if your taxi has arrived.

When you book your taxi just ask the operator for a “Ring Back” call when your taxi has arrived.
If you book from a mobile phone, your phone will ring twice and the display will say “Taxi Arrived”.
If you book from a landline, your phone will simply ring twice to alert you that your taxi is outside.

Interactive Voice Response. (IVR)

If you are a regular Avacab customer, and you have regular pick up points, ie., home, office, railway station, your local pub, etc., you could now register to use our IVR system.

IVR allows you to use your home or mobile phone to book your taxi without even speaking to our operators. All you do is dial our main number, 01772 424242 then for example press 1 for a home pickup, or 2 for an office pickup etc. Your taxi is then booked and the next available car is on it’s way.
It’s really that simple.

To register for IVR simply ring Avacab during office hours and we will register you on the system.
